LU is delivered with a cotton cushion, filled with small scraps of materials and thread, mixed with natural unbleached cotton filling, which has the role of keeping the shape of the product during handling and transport. We created this cushion to give a utility to the scraps of materials that we carefully collect, to avoid using conventional materials to maintain the shape of the bags (paper, plastic) and to make sure that the Flicka bag keeps its shape at home, when you store it.

Piñatex Piñatex is a natural, innovative and patented new material, made from pineapple leaf fibres gathered by partner farming cooperatives in the Philippines. Piñatex fibres are the by-product of the pineapple harvest. No extra land, water, fertiliser, or pesticides are required to produce the material.

Piñatex is: A non-woven textile, vegan, sustainable, plant based material, with low environmental impact, ecological, socially responsible, biodegradable* (*Thesubstrate (base material) is 100% biodegradable but the top coating is not, which comprises of about 10%-15% of the final product).

Cork is a natural, sustainable replacement for natural or synthetic leather, durable, and easy to maintain. The necessary bark  is harvested in strips at a certain time and does not cause damage to trees, cork being both a renewable and a a biodegradable material(cork is 100% biodegradable but also incorporates materials such as cotton or synthetic materials used as a support that are not in all cases biodegradable).
